Teeth Grinding and TMJ Disorders (Painful Jaw)

Night Guard for Teeth Grinding

People who grind their teeth at night may be unaware of this habit and usually discover their teeth grinding because someone informs them. The force that teeth grinding exerts on the teeth and the Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) can be quite destructive.

If you find out that you grind your teeth at night or suspect that you do, come to GAOC so that our dentists can assess the health of your teeth and TMJ.

A custom-made night guard can protect the teeth and relieve pressure on the TMJ. The night guard will be specially fitted to match your mouth and is worn at night to protect teeth from being worn down from the grinding.
